Le descriptif de l'annonce : YAMAHA WASP SIDECAR OUTFIT COMBINATION
Suitable for able-bodied or wheelchair user. Normal controls with the addition of a thumb brake which operates the rear and sidecar discs. Front double discs operated by Yamaha EXUP master cyclinder with EBC pads all round.
Properly set up, with leading link forks and Hagon shocks all round, it handles extremely well and is great fun to ride. Just fitted brand new fuel tank and new Hagon shocks to rear. Excellent tyres all round. Alloy swingarm and heated grips.
This was purchased by me as a road registered enduro/long distance trials outfit in 2003, in not the best of health. I treated it to a full overhaul and rebuild, with loads of photos to prove, to its current condition. This included: engine overhaul of rebore & new genuine Yamaha pistons; crank rebuilt by Chris Appleby; EBC clutch brakes; Boyer-Bransden electronic ignition; new seals and gaskets, all to standard spec with electric start also fitted.
I have used this for a number of years now, it's great fun and gets plenty of attention so be prepared to spend time chatting to people! I regularly carry a passenger, they sit in my wheelchair and use a grab-rail which slots in place when required. I now have another more modern outfit which I use more regularly so it has become hard to justify keeping the Yamaha.
Kliktronic gear-changer is not included in the sale, but is possibly negotiable, as I will require it for a future project. The normal foot change is retained either way.
Workshop manual, a few spares and bits & pieces all included.
